Matthew 24:7-17;

"Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom agaist kigndom
and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.
All these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Then shall they devilver you up to tribulation,
and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations for my names sake.
And then shall many be offended (have cause to sin; Matt 18:6-9),
and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceive many.
(for example Jim Jones, David Koresh, many so-called 'miracle' workers, youtube 'prophets'..)
And because lawlessness(twistings of Paul's words; 2 Peter 2:3, 3:1-3, 3:15-16)
shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold.
But he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.

And this good news of the kingdom {Matt 5 through 7. Luke 6:27-49. 2 John 1:9}
shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations;
and then shall the end come;

When ye therefore see the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place
{ Daniel 11:31 Ezekiel 44:7 Jeremiah 51:51 Luke 21:20 }

Then let them which be in Israel flee into the mountains: {Luke 21:21 Rev 19:19}
Let him which is on the housetop not come
down to take anything out of his house ..."

Luke 17:34 - 37
"two shall be in the field, the one taken, the other left.
And they (Luke 17:22 the disciples) answered and said, Where Lord?
And He said unto them;
Wheresoever the body is, there will the vultures be gathered together."

Matthew 24:28
"Wheresoever the body is, there will the vultures be gathered together."

Matthew 24:29-31;

"Immediatly after the tribulation of those days
shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not
give her light. (Joel 2:31 Ezekiel 32:7 Rev. 6:12)

{"the sun became black as sackcloth and the moon as blood" Rev. 6:12}

and the stars shall fall from the firmament (Daniel 8:10 Rev. 6:13)
and the powers of the firmament shall be shaken: (Rev. 6:14)

{"and the stars of the sky fell unto the earth" Rev. 6:13}

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in the sky;
and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn (Rev. 6:15-17)

{"[In the day of the Lord (verses 1-12-18)]
  they shall go into the holes of the rocks,
  and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord,
  and for the glory of His majesty." Isaiah 2:19}

{"And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and rich men,
 and the chief captains, and mighty men, and every bondman,
 and free man, hid themselves in the caves,
 and in the rocks of the mountains"  Rev 6:15}

{ Revelation 6:12-17 is clearly describing the day of the Lord.
  Revelation 5 and 6 tell one complete story.
  Then the story is told again, repeatedly, with different details
  using different visions. The same pattern is found in Daniel.
   (Ephesians 2:1-6, Rev 9:11, 11:7, 17:8) }

and they (all the tribes of the earth)
shall see (shall see) the Son of man coming in the clouds of the sky
with power and great glory (Ezekiel 37:10 Jude 1:14 Rev 19:14)

{"and said unto the rocks, fall on us and hide us from the face
  of Him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,
  for the great day of His wrath has come and who is able to stand?" Rev 6:16-17}

And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet
(trumpet 1 Corin. 15:15-58 1 Thess. 4:16)
and they shall gather together his chosen ones
from the four winds (Ezekiel 37:9 resurrections, the four winds)
from one end of heaven to the other."

Ezekiel 37:1-14 = resurrections.
Ezekiel 37:15-28 = reign of Messiah.
Ezekiel 38 and 39 = Gog and Magog.

Revelation 20:4-5 = resurrections.
Revelation 20:6 = reign of Messiah.

Ezekiel 37:9 "Come from the four winds, oh breath of life
and breathe upon these slain that they may live.."

Ezekiel 37:24-28 "And David my servant shall be king over them;
and they all shall have one shepherd;
they shall also walk in my judgments
 {Exodus 22:21, 23:1-9, Leviticus 19:9-18,33-34, Deuteronomy 10:12-19}
and observe my statues, and do them."
 {Do the people in Israel walk in those judgements now?}

Jeremiah 30:9 "David their king whom I will raise up unto them"

Isaiah 26:19 "Israels dead men shall live,
together with my dead body shall they arise."

"The dead in Christ (Christ is God) shall rise,
then we(who follow Christ) that are alive and remain shall be caught up together with
them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air" 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

"an exceeding great army" Ezekiel 37:9-10.

"Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
to do doom against all flesh" Jude 1:14-15

The marriage feast of the lamb,
the supper of God;

"Wheresoever the body is, there will the vultures be gathered together."

Revelation 19:7
"the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready"
{Matthew 25:1-13}

Reveation 19:17
"I saw an angel, standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice,
saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of the firmament,
Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God."

Revelation 19:19
"And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies,
gathered together to make war against Him that sat on the horse
and against His army."

Revelation 19:20
"And the beast was taken, and the false prophet..
these both were cast alive into a lake of fire.."

Revelation 19:21
"And the rest were slain with the sword of Him that sat upon the horse
which sword proceeded from His mouth, {Rev 2:16}
and all the birds were filled with their flesh"

For;
"Wheresoever the body is, there will the vultures be gathered together."

How can we be ready for the day of the Lord?
What does the Bible say?

What is the sure seal?

"Verily, Verily I say unto you, if a man keep my saying,
he shall never see death" John 8:51

"Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you,
do you even so to them, for this is the law and the prophets"
Matthew 5:1 through 7:12
{Exodus 20:12-17, 22:21, 23:1-9, Leviticus 19:9-18,33-34, Deuteronomy 10:12-19, 26:12,
 Proverbs 21:3, Isaiah 1:11-20, 58:5-10, Jeremiah 22:3-4, Zechariah 7:9-12, 8:14-17}

"Whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does not put
them into practice, is like a fool that built his house upon the sand"
Matthew 7:21-28

"Why do you call me, Lord Lord, and do not the things that I say?"
Luke 6:46

"If anyone hears my words, and believes not,
I judge him not, for I came not to judge but to save,
he that rejects me and recieves not my words,
has one that judges him, the words that I have spoken"
John 12:47-48

"If you love me, keep my commands, and I will pray the Father,
and He shall send you another Helper, even the Spirit of Truth."
John 14:15-17

"He that has my commands and keeps them, he it is that loves me,
and he that loves me shall be loved by my Father,
and we will come unto him and make our abode with him"
 John 14:23

"This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you"
John 15:12

"If any man agree not to wholesome words,
even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and the doctrine that is according to godliness,
he is proud knowing nothing" 1 Timothy 6:3

"the words I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life"
John 6:63

"If you are led by the Spirit you are not under the law"
Galatians 5:18

"If ye be Christs, then are ye Abrahams seed
and heirs according to the promise"
Galatians 3:29

"And they that are Christs, have crucified the flesh,
with its passions and lusts" Galatians 5:24

"If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ,
let that man be cursed, Oh Lord come" 1 Corinthians 16:22.

Being led by the words Christ Himself actually spoke
is being led by His Spirit, and is how we are to show our love for Him.

For the ever existing Father of all existence clearly said;
"I will raise them up a prophet, and put My words in His mouth,
and it shall come to pass that whosoever shall not hearken
unto My words which He shall speak in My name, I will require it of him"
Deuteronomy 18:18-19
