"Go and tell John the things you hear and see:
The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk,
the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up,
and the poor/meek have the -good news- preached to them."
Matthew 11:4-5 Luke 7:22 {Luke 4:18-19 Isaiah 61:1}

Christ preached the good news; Matthew 5 through 7:28, Luke 6:27-49.

The Bible says Paul is sometimes hard to understand; 2 Peter 3:15-16
but Paul always explains himself;

"For we are His creation, created in Christ Jesus
 for good works, which God has before prepared
 that we should walk in them."
Ephesians 2:10

"For with the heart man believes (in Christ) unto righteousness"
Romans 10:10

"And that He died for all, that they which live,
should not henceforth live for themselves,
but unto Him that died for them, and rose again"
2 Corinthians 5:15

"..If so be that ye have heard Christ,
and have been taught by Christ,
as the truth is in Christ.."
Ephesians 4:17-22

"If any man agree not to wholesome words,
even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ,
and the teaching that is according to godliness,
he is proud knowing nothing.."
1 Timothy 6:3-14

The words of Christ, that are both, the actual words of Christ,
and the teaching that is according to godliness,
are these; "love one another" Matthew 7:12 John 15:12

Matthew 5 through 7:28, and Luke 6:27-49
contain the details of what Christ means to love.

Christ taught the same good news spoken by the former prophets;

Isaiah declares good news;

"To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? says the Lord ..
Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me;
the new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot endure;
it is iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hateth:
they are a trouble unto me; I am weary to bear them.
And when ye spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from you:
yea, when ye make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are full of bloodshed.
Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes;
cease to do evil; learn to do well; seek justice, relieve the oppressed,
defend the fatherless, plead for the widow.
Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD:
though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land"
Isaiah 1:11-20

{The Creator is concered about how we treat others
more than the ritualistic aspects of the law}

Jeremiah declares good news;

"Thus saith the Lord;
Dispence justice and righteousness,
and devilver the oppresed out of the hand of the oppresor,
and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger,
the fatherless, nor the widow,
nethier shed innocent blood in this place.

For if ye do this thing indeed,
then shall there enter in by the gates of this house
kings sitting upon the throne of David,
riding in chariots and on horses, he , (David! Jeremiah 30:9 Ezekiel 37:9-24)
and his servants and his people."
Jeremiah 22:3 and 4.

{Jeremiah is clearly declaring a big reward for just following the heart,spirit, of the Torah. }

Zechariah declares good news;

"Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying,
Execute true justice, and show mercy and compassions every man to his brother:
And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor;
and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder,
and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear -the law-,
and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets:
therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts."

Zechariah 7:9-12   {Notice what "the law" is in this passage?}

And again;

"For thus saith the LORD of hosts; As I thought to punish you,
when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of hosts,
and I repented not: So again have I thought in these days to do well
unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not.
These are the things that ye shall do;
Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour;
execute the judgment for truth and peace in your gates:
And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour;
and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the LORD."
Zechariah 8:14-17

Mark 3:15  {Luke 4:18-19 Matthew 11:2-5}
"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is near,
repent ye, and believe in the -good news-."

{Christ was referring to all the above words of the former prophets,
 His audience would/should have understood this.
 From Luke and Matthew this is clear.}

Matthew 7:12
"Whatsoever ye would that men should do to you,
do you even so to them, for this is the law and the prophets."

Matthew 7:12 and Zechariah 7:12 (above)
speak of the same general summation of "the law".

John 8:51
"Verily Verily I say unto you, if a man keep my saying he shall never see death."

John 15:12
"this is my commandment (His saying) that you love one another as I have loved you"

"And herby we do know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments"
1 John 2:3

"If you love me, keep my commands, and I will pray the Father,
and He shall give you another Helper, even the Spirit of Truth"
John 14:15

"If a man love me, he will keep my words, and my Father will love him,
and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him"
John 14:23

John 15:12
"this is my commandment, that you love one another, as I have loved you"

"All the law is fulfilled in one word even this;
love your neighbor as yourself" Galatians 5:14

"If you are led by the Spirit you are not under the law"
Galatians 5:18

"The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfullness, meekness and self-control."
Galatians 5:14-24

"And they that are Christs have crucified the flesh with its passions and lusts"
Galatians 5:24

What part of the Spirit can be literally seen, so that one can be clearly led?

"the words I speak to you, they are spirit and they are life"
John 6:63

Thereby following all the words Christ spoke gives one a clear literal path.

Christ is the way, the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by Him.
{ 1 Corinthians 16:22  John 14:21  2 Corinthians 5:15  1 Timothy 6:3-14 }
